I saw the ‘ask’ to you about advice for up and coming photographers.
I’m not a pro photographer but its a real passion of mine.
You find these days SLR cameras are becoming ‘cool’ to have so loads of young people are buying them, taking pretty pictures and calling themselves photographers, and this kinda annoys me because there is a real art to it which isn’t something you can learn, its something that grows from already having a love for art and a creative eye.
People think the better the camera the better photographs they will make, but they don’t realise that a camera, really, is only a way of recording your ideas just like a pencil or paintbrush.
All I have to say about it is, its not the equipment you use that makes an amazing image, its the photographer themselves. YOU as the photographer need to have a creative eye, a real interest in art and your surroundings and how everything and anything can make an amazing photograph so long as you are able to IMAGINE it in your head first.
You could use a cheap 50p disposable camera but create gorgeous imagery because you’ve thought about it, imagined it and your concept is amazing.
Don’t think you need expensive cameras. They all do the same thing.
